Project Manager Water Design
Working Location: Manchester (Hybrid)
Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 + Benefits
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee delivery of water design projects, ensuring quality, cost, and timelines are met
- Manage project plans and track progress against key milestones
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships
- Administer contracts NEC and similar, including commercial tracking
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and external partners
- Provide regular updates to senior stakeholders on performance and risks
- Support bid and tender submissions for upcoming work
- Coach and support junior members of the team
Requirements
- Background in project or design management within water or infrastructure
- Good understanding of commercial and contract management NEC preferred
- Experience delivering design-focused projects across multiple disciplines
- Comfortable leading teams and coordinating different stakeholders
- Knowledge of the UK water sector and regulatory environment
- Familiarity with project scheduling and programme management
- Experience managing project changes and variations
- Degree or HND in a relevant engineering or construction discipline
