Project Manager - Building Restoration

Overview
An established and growing construction contractor is seeking a Project Manager to lead building restoration projects across New York City. This is a hands-on role offering full project ownership, from pre-construction through to final delivery, with exposure to complex and high-profile works.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple restoration projects from planning through completion
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and subcontractor performance
- Coordinate site operations, field teams, and logistics on active sites
- Work closely with clients, providing regular updates and progress reports
- Ensure all works are delivered in line with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Manage projects within occupied buildings, minimising disruption and ensuring smooth delivery
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Project Manager role within the construction industry
- Strong background in one or more of the following: facade, concrete, masonry, roofing, or waterproofing
- Familiarity with New York City regulations such as FISP / Local Law 11 is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
