Work Schedule: 8 Hours per day / 5 days a week - (At least 3 days/week in the office. Wednesdays + 2 additional days)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is now looking for a Senior Project Manager/Project Sponsor. The consultant must have competence and experience that is in line with the scope and complexity of the project.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the project's progress and results in relation to the Business Case.
- Act as chairman of the project steering committee.
- Challenge and support the definition of the project's deliverables and challenge cost drivers.
- Make an assessment before a TG (Toll Gate) decision.
- Manage project management documentation and financial decision support materials.
- Recommend TG decisions to the PRB (Project Review Board) or make TG decisions if delegated to the sponsor by the PPO (Project Portfolio Office), which must in that case be stated in the PIN (Project Initiation Note) or as part of the basis for the TG decision.
- Manage strategically important interfaces for the project (e.g., internal and/or external stakeholders, suppliers, etc., important to the project).
- Ensure that the needs and requirements of internal and external stakeholders are managed.
- Ensure that the project has sufficient resources and funding.
- Follow up on the project's development and risks.
- Provide and present decision support materials to the PRB.
- Ensure that the project follows up on PRB decisions.
Skills:
- University degree or similar in IT
- IPMA B knowledge/certification
- At least 10 years' experience in project management, of which 5 years are in responsible leadership functions of complex projects.
- Substantive knowledge of more than one specialised field.
- Is in some dimension considered a leading authority (thought leader) within the specialist competence area.
- Experience of having quality assured > 5 projects/programs.
- Fluent in Swedish and English.
Language requirements:
- Swedish and English. Swedish will be used mostly, but English is required for reviewing reading materials and for creating your own documentation and presentation materials (i.e. reading and writing in English).
