The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading global engineering consultancy, overseeing complex offshore brownfield modification projects. This high-profile role offers the chance to lead full lifecycle delivery of multi-disciplinary offshore engineering scopes, managing both technical and commercial aspects, and driving project success from concept through execution.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the full project lifecycle delivery of offshore brownfield modification projects, from early-phase concept development through detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover.

Act as the primary point of contact for the client, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring project alignment with client expectations.

Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk registers with full accountability for project delivery.

Coordinate and direct multi-disciplinary engineering teams, including mechanical, process, structural, electrical, instrumentation, and automation disciplines.

Ensure compliance with technical assurance processes, applicable standards, regulatory frameworks, and company quality systems.

Collaborate closely with procurement, fabrication, construction, and offshore teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Support offshore site surveys, readiness reviews, offshore installation support, and commissioning activities.

Foster a proactive HSE culture, driving continuous improvement across safety, quality, and project performance.

Provide accurate and timely project reporting to both internal management and external client stakeholders, including risk and mitigation reporting.
Key Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical discipline preferred); advanced degree or PMP certification is advantageous.

15+ years’ experience within the Oil & Gas sector, with a minimum of 5 years in offshore project management roles.

Proven track record of delivering complex offshore brownfield projects across multiple project stages.

Strong experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams within a consultancy, EPC, or operator environment.

Previous exposure to Middle East clients and regional standards highly desirable.

In-depth understanding of international offshore design codes, engineering practices, and regulatory requirements.

Strong financial management skills with experience managing project budgets, financial reporting, and risk management.

Excellent leadership, interpersonal, communication, and client-facing skills.

Commercially astute with strong contract and stakeholder management experience.
