Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a well-established organisation with strong staff retention and long-term career opportunities. This is a permanent role due to an internal promotion, offering the chance to take the lead in managing high-impact projects within the oil & gas, chemical, petrochemical, water, and energy transition sectors.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate all project engineering activities, ensuring compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and agreed deadlines.

Mentor and develop a high-performing engineering team, promoting collaboration, continuous improvement, and cross-functional teamwork.

Manage resource allocation, prioritisation, and workload to achieve optimal performance and timely project delivery.

Provide technical and leadership guidance to resolve engineering issues efficiently.

Ensure designs and deliverables meet customer expectations and internal stakeholder requirements, maintaining a focus on quality and client satisfaction.

Monitor and manage project milestones, tasks, and actions using project management tools.

Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure accountability and alignment with business objectives.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical preferred).

Minimum 10 years of relevant engineering experience in a project or industrial setting.

Chartered Engineer status preferred.

Proven experience leading project engineering teams within construction, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.

Strong knowledge of relevant industry regulations, standards, and safety protocols.

Track record of delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.

Proactive approach with a focus on achieving successful project execution and clear performance reporting.
