Job Vacancy: Project Manager - Marine Civil Construction

Working Location: Qatar

Job Overview:

A well-established company specializing in marine civil construction and maintenance is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead projects including port infrastructure, jetty rehabilitation, quay wall repair, and marine infrastructure upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage marine civil construction and maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, contract requirements, budgets, and schedules.

- Plan, monitor, and control project resources, costs, and progress to achieve project objectives.

- Ensure full compliance with HSE regulations, quality standards, and company policies, particularly within operational port environments.

- Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors, port authorities, and inspectors.

- Oversee contract administration, cost estimation, change management, and monthly project valuations.

- Monitor project performance and implement quality assurance and safety procedures in accordance with project specifications.

- Prepare and submit project reports, schedules, technical documentation, and progress updates.

- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within the approved budget.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

- MMUP/UPDA Certification is an added advantage.

- PMP Certification is preferred.

Experience:

- Minimum 15 years of experience in marine civil construction, port infrastructure, or Oil & Gas industrial projects.

- Experience in marine maintenance works within operational ports or Oil & Gas terminals is highly desirable.

- Proven experience in construction, rehabilitation, and repair of berths, jetties, quay walls, dolphins, and marine structures.

Key Competencies:

- Strong leadership and project management capabilities in marine construction environments.

- Extensive experience in marine civil works and port infrastructure projects.

- Excellent communication, team leadership, and problem-solving skills.

- Strong knowledge of construction planning, budgeting, contract management, and HSE systems.

- Proficiency in MS Office and project reporting tools.
