Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead strategic finance initiatives across multiple entities in a complex international environment. This role is responsible for driving efficiency, standardization, and harmonization of finance processes, with a focus on Accounts Payable, shared services, and finance transformation projects. The successful candidate will act as a trusted partner for senior stakeholders, facilitating cross-functional collaboration and ensuring successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end strategic initiatives in Finance Services to enhance efficiency, scalability, and quality of accounting processes

Plan, execute, and monitor projects using professional project management methods

Standardize and harmonize finance processes across multiple entities and countries

Manage transition and carve-in projects, ensuring smooth implementation, business continuity, and high customer satisfaction

Act as a trusted advisor for senior stakeholders in Finance, IT, and other corporate functions

Facilitate stakeholder communication, decision-making, and transparent reporting

Deliver strategic rollout projects, driving alignment, milestone achievement, and successful execution

Track project performance, identify risks early, implement mitigation strategies, and resolve issues promptly

Support rollout activities hands-on, from requirements specification to harmonization, standardization, communication, and change management
Required Qualifications and Experience:

University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field

Minimum 7 years of experience in finance transformation, project management, or Shared Services environments

Proven track record in leading complex international projects

Deep knowledge of finance processes, particularly Accounts Payable

Experience in leading transitions and implementing process improvements in global organizations

Expertise in digitalization and automation technologies is advantageous (e.g., Hypatos, Redwood)

Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

Strong problem-solving ability, accountability, and conceptual thinking

Fluent in English and German

Willingness to travel as required
