Project Engineering Lead - Offshore / Onshore Projects

Location: Qatar Onshore

Contract: 36 months (with possibility to extend)

Working Hours: 10 hours per day, 5 days per week

Job Summary

We are seeking a Project Engineering Lead to provide technical and project management support for large-scale offshore and onshore engineering projects. This role ensures effective coordination across project teams, manages engineering deliverables, and supports change management, risk mitigation, and stakeholder reporting throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and project management support to the Project Manager, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Lead coordination between project teams to resolve misalignments and monitor interface agreement performance.
  • Monitor project performance, KPIs, and exception reports, supporting resolution through collaboration with functional managers.
  • Manage the change management process, driving change orders to completion with clear visibility.
  • Support risk management activities by identifying potential risks and tracking mitigation actions.
  • Ensure compliance with project management systems by tracking deliverables, scheduling reviews, and resolving findings.
  • Monitor FEED deliverables and coordinate multi-discipline interface reviews (MEP, civil, instrumentation, etc.) through workshops and meetings.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 8 years of engineering experience, including 4 years in Oil & Gas or large industrial projects.
  • At least 1 year of supervisory or oversight experience managing contractors, subcontractors, or vendor personnel.
  • Experience on large brownfield projects, including dredging and tunneling works with FEED/EPC contracts.
  • Prior experience in Qatar or the Middle East preferred.
