Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to lead a team of Planning Engineers and Planners on large-scale offshore projects. You will ensure optimal project performance by providing timely cost forecasts, progress measurement, and detailed reporting, supporting project execution and enabling informed decision-making at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish, develop, and maintain an efficient project controls structure, systems, and procedures.
  • Create and maintain level IV resource-loaded schedules in Primavera for all project activities.
  • Prepare look-ahead plans, recovery plans, and other project-specific scheduling tools.
  • Maintain project Quantity (BOQ) and oversee cost monitoring and reporting.
  • Publish project progress and cost reports for internal and client stakeholders as per schedule.
  • Guide the project management team on progress, cost, and contractual requirements.
  • Implement activity-based costing and discipline-wise productivity measurement systems.
  • Monitor contract scope, manage variation orders, and liaise with contracts teams as required.
  • Maintain and communicate the Risk and Opportunity register, ensuring proactive mitigation measures.
  • Generate cash flows and provide updates to the estimation team to ensure financial tracking.
  • Foster collaboration with clients and internal teams to meet project expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or relevant field.
  • Proven experience as Project Controls Manager on at least 2 major offshore EPIC projects.
  • Strong hands-on experience in scheduling and cost control for major EPIC projects.
  • Proficient in Primavera and other project control software.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas or Offshore Engineering industry.
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal, written, comprehension).
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Information

  • This role requires offshore deployment and occasional extended hours as per project needs.
  • Candidates must be authorised to work offshore and hold all required safety and travel certifications.
