Job Title: Project Controls Division Manager
Location: Doha, Qatar (Onshore Major Projects)
Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (36 Months)
Schedule: 12 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation, 6 days per week, 8–10 hours per day

Position Summary

  • Lead and govern the Project Controls function across a major LNG onshore project
  • Oversee cost, schedule, progress, reporting, and risk management against approved baselines
  • Provide accurate project performance insights to support senior management decision-making
  • Ensure EPC contractor compliance with project controls standards and reporting requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project controls governance across planning, scheduling, cost engineering, and reporting functions
  • Establish and maintain project control procedures, guidelines, and reporting systems
  • Coordinate inputs from engineering, construction, procurement, and other PMT functions
  • Ensure effective implementation of schedule, cost control, and progress measurement systems
  • Monitor EPC contractor performance in planning, reporting, and cost control activities
  • Analyse project cost and schedule data to identify risks, trends, and deviations
  • Manage change control processes, including cost and schedule impact assessments
  • Provide interface between senior project leadership and EPC contractor teams
  • Review invoices and ensure compliance with contractual and audit requirements
  • Support workforce planning, resource management, and project forecasting activities
  • Ensure integration of planning systems across all project execution phases

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in oil & gas project environments
  • At least 3 years in a project management leadership role on major projects
  • Strong experience across project controls, planning, scheduling, and cost control
  • Experience working with EPC contractors and large project organisations
  • Strong knowledge of project execution processes, risk management, and change control
  • Familiarity with international engineering standards and project governance systems
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
