Job Title: Project Controller – Real Estate & Infrastructure Projects
Location: Stockholm, Sweden
Contract Type: Residential, Full-Time
Assignment Length: Until 31st December 2025 (extension possible)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day
Overview:
We are currently looking for an experienced Project Controller to support a major real estate and facilities investment programme within the Nordic region. This is a contract opportunity based in Stockholm, working within a high-performing business support team focused on financial control, project portfolio analysis, and process improvement across property and infrastructure investments.
Key Responsibilities:

Support financial planning and monitoring across individual real estate investment projects

Lead coordination of budget, forecast, and monthly reporting activities from a capital investment perspective

Develop and refine decision-support documents, financial models, and project monitoring tools

Ensure robust financial follow-up of projects including cost tracking, analysis, and compliance

Contribute to the improvement of financial systems and tools for investment tracking

Create and maintain key metrics to evaluate the performance of investment projects

Prepare formal business cases and decision-support documents

Act as the main coordinator for investment reporting within the controlling team

Engage with stakeholders across the project organisation and wider business

Travel within Sweden may be required
Candidate Requirements:

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or equivalent

At least 5 years of experience in project controlling, preferably in real estate or infrastructure sectors

Solid knowledge of accounting, capital project economics, and property-related VAT
-
Proficient with SAP and financial reporting tools such as Excel and Power BI

Skilled in handling and analysing large data sets and delivering actionable insights

Able to view investment planning from a strategic, portfolio-wide perspective

Strong communication and interpersonal skills – collaborative, open, and detail-driven

Self-sufficient, service-oriented, and eager to contribute to process improvement
