Role Overview

This role involves overseeing project controls within a major oil and gas development. The Project Control Manager ensures that all deliverables are executed to specification, on schedule, within budget, and in line with quality and safety expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate project control activities across disciplines.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet technical and quality standards.
  • Review design documents, progress reports, and schedules for compliance.
  • Participate in coordination meetings with stakeholders and contractors.
  • Monitor execution progress and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Implement lessons learned and best practices to improve outcomes.
  • Track performance metrics and prepare project reports.
  • Support risk, change, and interface management processes.
  • Foster a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline.
  • At least 15 years of experience in project management roles within the oil and gas sector.
  • Proven experience in PMC or EPC environments.
  • Excellent understanding of offshore platform design and construction.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency with project control systems and tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
