Kintec are currently partnered with a pioneering Green Steel Production Company who are constructing a plant in Northern Sweden that will produce Green Steel - Green Steel production emits up to 95% less CO ₂ compared conventional steel production.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Project Assurance Auditor:-
The Project Assurance Auditor is a key member of the Quality Team, responsible for the definition, maintenance and delivery of the project assurance plan. This role ensures that the project adheres to the standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices; as well as that the risks are identified and mitigated by the implemented management systems.
The successful candidate will bring expertise in project assurance for large-scale project executed via multiple EPCM contracts.
The assurance plan will be mainly focused on EPCMs and OEM and some of the main construction contractors.
1. Responsibilities:
Assurance Plan
Develop and maintain the assurance plan in conjunction with the Head of Project Quality, Area Directors, Functional Managers (Engineering, Project Controls, Commissioning, HSE etc.)
Assurance events:
Act as lead reviewers owning:
· The definition of the Terms of references of each assurance events: objectives, detailed scoped, review team definition, review schedule.
· The running of the assurance event, leading the review pre read and the review "field" activities.
· Participation in the EPCMs and OEM own assurance events as an "active observer".
Follow up on Assurance Events:
Owning the follow up from the assurance events:
· Leading the Assurance report issuance
· Follow up on the actions and verification activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
a. Educational & Professional:
· Formal education in Engineering or related field.
· 10 years experience in Large infrastructure Projects.
· 5 years experience in Project Assurance for a large infrastructure owner or EPCM
· Deep understanding of the project execution process for all departments (HSE, Engineering, Contracts, Procurement, Project Controls, Construction, Commissioning)
b. Interpersonal Skills:
· Ability to influence across disciplines and hierarchical levels
· High attention to detail with the ability to analyze complex data and identify trends or gaps.
· Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
