Job Title: Production & Sampling Advisor
Location: Olen, Belgium
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent (12-month initial contract with the view to go permanent)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 100% Onsite | Start time: 07:00
We are working with a global industrial company specialising in advanced materials technology, and they’re looking to bring a Production & Sampling Advisor into their team in Olen. This is a critical site-based position focused on managing incoming raw materials and intermediates for complex production processes—ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, technical environment with lots of moving parts.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Oversee the arrival of raw materials, ensuring correct documentation and procedural compliance

Register and track data using systems such as SAP (COP), LIMS, and Microsoft 365

Inspect incoming materials and liaise with suppliers, procurement, and external reps

Follow up on lab analysis and contribute to procurement-related decision-making

Coordinate the internal flow of materials to production units and between departments

Monitor inventory of raw materials and intermediates, supporting monthly/yearly stock counts

Handle ordering and tracking of consumables

Step into a leadership support role when the department lead is unavailable
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Science, or a Technical field (or equivalent experience)
- Hands-on experience in production/logistics environments (chemical industry background preferred)
- Strong analytical skills—able to interpret data and apply findings
- Proficient in SAP (COP), LIMS, Ariba, and MS365 tools
- Capable of clear written and verbal reporting

Fluent in Dutch and English (this is essential for safe communication on the production floor)

Solid communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Willing to occasionally travel to a nearby external warehouse (Grobbendonk)

Confident enough to provide operational guidance when required
