Overview:
A great opportunity for an experienced SPPID Designer to join a major oil and gas development. The role focuses on the creation, management, and validation of process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) using SmartPlant P&ID (SPPID) software. The ideal candidate will ensure data integrity and cross-discipline collaboration while supporting engineering teams across project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain accurate and detailed Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) using SPPID software.

2. Manage and update the P&ID database, ensuring data consistency and compliance with project requirements.

3. Apply rules and validation checks within the system to verify drawing accuracy and completeness.

4. Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure integration and coordination across project documentation.

5. Support change management processes and keep drawings up to date with the latest revisions.

Requirements:

1. Relevant technical qualification or diploma in engineering design or drafting.

2. Strong hands-on experience in SmartPlant P&ID (SPPID) for oil and gas or industrial projects.

3. Excellent knowledge of process design standards and instrumentation symbols.

4. Ability to manage large volumes of P&ID data and ensure alignment with multidisciplinary documentation.

5. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to drawing accuracy and data quality.

6. Comfortable working under pressure and meeting project deadlines.

7. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

8. Fluent in English.
