Process Leader - GIS Platform
Location: Gothenburg, Sweden (hybrid - regular on-site presence required)
Workload: 50%
Start Date: 27 November 2023
End Date: 31 March 2024 (with 6-month extension option)
We are looking for an experienced Process Leader to support the management and development of a GIS platform within an urban development and planning environment. This role will suit someone with strong process or project leadership experience who understands the opportunities geodata provides, even without deep technical GIS expertise.
The GIS platform provides the foundation for geodata management and supports functions such as exploring, updating, visualising, and analysing data. The assignment involves coordinating activities, supporting the technical team, and ensuring smooth and efficient workflows in line with agile methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the GIS platform area in meetings and stakeholder dialogues.
- Organise and lead meetings required for process advancement.
- Allocate and follow up on tasks within a scrumban-based workflow.
- Ensure efficient task management, balancing workload across sprints.
- Collaborate with colleagues and management to improve processes and ways of working.
- Contribute to prioritisation of assignments and projects.
- Coordinate with other departments on larger cross-functional initiatives.
Requirements:
- Solid experience in process leadership and/or project management.
- Background in projects within the urban development sector.
- Project leadership experience within IT and/or GIS.
Meritorious:
- Knowledge of the urban planning process.
- Familiarity with GIS and geodata.
- Experience working with agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum).
Assignment Details:
- Duration: 27 November 2023 - 31 March 2024, with option to extend by 6 months.
- Workload: 50%.
- Location: Hybrid - regular on-site presence is required to build relationships and attend meetings. Remote work is possible up to 3 days per week.
- Compensation: Hourly-based contract.
