Overview
A leading energy operator is seeking a Process Engineer to support ongoing decommissioning activities across offshore assets. This hands-on technical role involves problem-solving, optioneering, feasibility studies, and operational support, working closely with technical authorities and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support engineering, design, and construct (EDC) activities related to offshore decommissioning programmes

  • Identify solutions to complex, non-standard engineering problems

  • Conduct optioneering studies and feasibility assessments

  • Prepare scopes of work and Basis of Design (BoD) documentation

  • Support detailed design activities across multiple disciplines

  • Assist with operational deliverables including preparation of operating procedures

  • Provide engineering input aligned with offshore operational requirements

  • Collaborate closely with platform technical authorities and multidisciplinary teams

Candidate Profile / Required Experience

  • Minimum 6 years’ experience as a Process Engineer in oil and gas (more preferred)

  • Strong operational understanding of offshore constraints and best practices

  • Experience supporting decommissioning, brownfield, or late-life assets is advantageous

  • Comfortable working in an EDC or asset support environment

  • Offshore experience preferred

  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and able to work with limited project definition
