Overview
A leading energy operator is seeking a Process Engineer to support ongoing decommissioning activities across offshore assets. This hands-on technical role involves problem-solving, optioneering, feasibility studies, and operational support, working closely with technical authorities and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities

Support engineering, design, and construct (EDC) activities related to offshore decommissioning programmes

Identify solutions to complex, non-standard engineering problems

Conduct optioneering studies and feasibility assessments

Prepare scopes of work and Basis of Design (BoD) documentation

Support detailed design activities across multiple disciplines

Assist with operational deliverables including preparation of operating procedures

Provide engineering input aligned with offshore operational requirements

Collaborate closely with platform technical authorities and multidisciplinary teams
Candidate Profile / Required Experience

Minimum 6 years’ experience as a Process Engineer in oil and gas (more preferred)

Strong operational understanding of offshore constraints and best practices

Experience supporting decommissioning, brownfield, or late-life assets is advantageous

Comfortable working in an EDC or asset support environment

Offshore experience preferred

Proactive, solutions-focused, and able to work with limited project definition
