Process Engineer
Location: Hampshire
An established engineering organisation is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to support a range of energy-transition and conventional energy projects. This role offers exposure across onshore, offshore, hydrogen, carbon capture, and renewable developments, with a flexible hybrid setup that typically allows around 60% remote working each month.
About the Role
You will support the Lead Process Engineer in delivering high-quality process engineering work throughout all project stages. The position offers hands-on involvement in design, safety reviews, technical documentation, and cross-discipline coordination.
Key Responsibilities

Support the Lead Process Engineer in carrying out project deliverables and assigned tasks.

Act as the process discipline representative in HAZIDs, HAZOPs, design reviews, and related meetings.

Perform detailed engineering calculations to inform accurate and compliant designs.

Ensure design standards, methods, and technical data meet the requirements of each project.

Prepare Process Flow Diagrams, equipment specifications, process descriptions, and P&IDs for review and approval.

Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure effective interface management and timely delivery.

Contribute to the design of oil and gas process systems and equipment.

Assist in the development and improvement of internal engineering tools.

Maintain high standards of safety and comply with Environmental and Quality Assurance processes.
Minimum Requirements

Degree in engineering or related discipline.

Experience across Concept, FEED, and Detailed Engineering stages for onshore and offshore energy projects.

Background in process engineering within Oil & Gas and/or energy-transition sectors.
