Key Responsibilities:
- Optimise and support operations within upstream and downstream facilities, focusing on process design, troubleshooting, and safety compliance.
- Design, analyse, and optimise chemical and mechanical processes for oil & gas operations.
- Perform process simulations, mass and energy balances, and prepare Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
- Conduct hazard and risk assessments to ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
- Support commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting activities.
- Collaborate closely with project engineers, operations, and maintenance teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Process Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years' experience in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or energy industries.
- Proficiency with process simulation tools (such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of safety standards, process design codes, and HSE regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Desirable Skills:
- Chartered Engineer status or equivalent (CEng/IChemE).
- Experience with LNG, refining, or gas processing facilities.
