Planning Lead
Location: Qatar Onshore
Contract Term: 36 months (with possibility to extend)
Working Hours: 10 hrs/day, 6 days/week, 26 days/month

Job Purpose
Lead the development, maintenance, monitoring, and control of project schedules and cost-related data for the NFPS Compression Project. Evaluate and consolidate schedule and cost information, analyze progress, report status, and recommend improvements to ensure project delivery within agreed timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules reflecting approved design and execution scope
- Review contractor project control procedures for compliance
- Check accuracy of contractor progress reports
- Monitor EPC contractor schedules for logic, detail, and interfaces
- Integrate subcontractor schedules into overall EPC schedules
- Integrate vendor/supplier schedules for critical equipment and bulks
- Monitor and appraise contractor performance against progress and schedule controls
- Evaluate project changes for schedule impact and update overall schedules
- Advise on schedule issues, propose corrective actions, and verify implementation
- Conduct regular meetings with contractors to review progress and report to management
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Accounting, Business Management/Administration, or Commercial disciplines
- Minimum 8 years' experience in project scheduling and controls for EPC oil & gas capital projects
- At least 7 years' site/field scheduling experience
- Deep knowledge of project controls principles and standards
- Experience developing work methods per company policies and engineering standards
- Strong troubleshooting and time management skills
- Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently within defined roles
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (Version 18 or higher)
- Experience with Primavera Schedule Risk Analysis or similar tools
- Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent planning, organizational, prioritization, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
