Rotation: 28 days on / 28 days off
Working Hours: 12 hours per day, 7 days per week during rotation
Work Pattern: Offshore with some initial onshore period for training and scope preparation
Job Overview
An opportunity is available for an experienced Piping & Structural Supervisor to support offshore brownfield, shutdown, hook-up and commissioning activities on a major oil and gas development.
The role represents the company offshore and is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality execution while protecting the integrity of existing assets and meeting project objectives.
Key Responsibilities

Coordinate offshore brownfield, shutdown and hook-up activities for piping and structural scopes

Supervise EPC contractors and subcontractors during installation, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning and commissioning

Ensure all offshore work is executed in full compliance with safety, quality and integrity standards

Participate in daily offshore coordination meetings, including safety briefings and Permit to Work (PTW) planning

Verify constructability and technical compliance of engineering and contractor deliverables

Coordinate closely with operations teams to manage SIMOPS and maintain continuous communication during execution

Monitor contractor progress, identify issues or deviations, and ensure timely resolution

Ensure adequate resources and technical capability are available to meet offshore execution schedules

Liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders to manage interfaces effectively

Support brownfield site surveys, scope preparation and execution planning

Promote a strong safety culture offshore and ensure closure of assigned safety actions

Report any non-compliance or risks to line management

Contribute to project reviews, lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications

Higher National Diploma or equivalent in a relevant engineering or technical discipline
Experience
-
Minimum 8 years of experience in large-scale oil and gas construction projects

Proven experience in offshore construction, installation, fabrication, hook-up, brownfield execution or commissioning

Experience supervising contractors within offshore environments

Familiarity with major offshore facilities and structural systems
Technical Skills

Knowledge of relevant international codes, standards and specifications

Understanding of offshore execution methods, risks and SIMOPS requirements

Experience with brownfield modifications and shutdown planning

Awareness of safety requirements associated with sour gas and LNG facilities

Strong understanding of fabrication, transport, installation and commissioning processes

Experience working within large operating organisations or major project environments
