Contract Type: Fixed-term contract from May/June 2026 until 30 December 2027, with possible extension

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Facilities Lead in the Integrated Development Engineering Group (IDEG) on all pipeline and subsea interconnection studies across Screening, Conceptual, and Pre-FEED phases.
- Execute and supervise pipeline engineering, design, and planning, leveraging new or optimized technologies for maximum project efficiency and safety.
- Prepare technical documentation to support internal management and external shareholder meetings and workshops.
- Manage pipeline technical studies, including identification and oversight of external engineering scopes.
- Ensure all HSE requirements and industry standards are integrated into engineering deliverables.
- Evaluate subsea interconnection route options, pipeline technologies, and support technical screenings.
- Lead technical evaluations for option screening during conceptual phases to identify optimal solutions for Pre-FEED.
- Interface and coordinate with external technology providers regarding technical offerings, feasibility, and commercial aspects in line with internal procurement workflows.
- Actively seek and implement technical solutions for CAPEX optimization within pipeline engineering designs.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams such as Geomatics, Geotech, Geophysics, Corrosion, Structures, and Project Execution to ensure robust engineering outcomes.
- Develop project execution plans for pipelines, including constructability assessments.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, integrating them into the project risk register.
- Participate in internal and vendor meetings, technical reviews, and risk management workshops.
- Support continuous improvement and cross-departmental collaboration within the IDEG team.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's (Master's preferred) in Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years' experience in pipeline engineering within the oil and gas industry, with a strong focus on offshore pipelines, flexibles, and cables.
- In-depth expertise in pipeline technologies, design, procurement, project execution strategies, and offshore installation.
- Significant early engineering experience (Pre-FID), including pre-screening, conceptual, Pre-FEED, and cost optimization.
- Outstanding communication skills in English (spoken and written) and well-developed leadership abilities.
- Track record of effective work in multi-cultural, cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.
- Experience with technical specifications in large-scale oil and gas projects is advantageous.
- High proficiency with MS Office and pipeline-related software.
