Pipeline Engineer
Location: Hampshire
A leading engineering organisation is seeking an experienced Pipeline Engineer to support a variety of energy transition and conventional energy projects. The role covers onshore, offshore, hydrogen, carbon capture, and renewable developments, with a flexible hybrid working arrangement that typically allows around 60% remote work each month.
About the Role
The Pipeline Engineer will support the design and engineering of pipelines up to the Concept Definition stage, working closely with the pipeline team and under the guidance of the discipline lead. The role involves coordination across disciplines to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient pipeline solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Support the design of onshore and offshore pipelines up to Concept Definition stage.

Work closely with the pipeline team and follow guidance from the discipline lead.

Coordinate with pipeline designers and provide required inputs for drawing development.

Review pipeline drawings and verify design and installation activities completed by contractors during execution.

Track and follow up on detailed pipeline engineering activities.

Attend technical and coordination meetings.

Collaborate effectively within the pipeline department and interface with other disciplines, including materials, flow assurance, and subsea systems.

Ensure adherence to pipeline design standards and company HSEQ policies.
Knowledge & Experience

Experience in pipeline design for onshore and offshore Oil & Gas or energy transition projects.

Familiarity with pipeline design standards, engineering practices, and HSEQ requirements.

Strong collaboration and coordination skills across disciplines.
