Position: Pipeline Engineer – Energy & Infrastructure

Overview:
We’re seeking an Onshore Pipeline Engineer to join a global engineering organisation with newly awarded UK projects. The role spans both conventional oil & gas and the energy transition sector (hydrogen, CO₂/CCUS, ammonia). With structured development and mentoring, this is a clear pathway to progress towards Principal Engineer level while contributing to sustainable energy projects.

Key responsibilities:

Perform and review pipeline design calculations.

Develop routes including crossings, reports, and alignment drawings.

Prepare technical deliverables such as design reports, specifications, and philosophies.

Support survey and procurement activities (MTOs, specifications, data sheets).
What you’ll bring:
-
Engineering degree (or equivalent); Chartered or progressing towards it preferred.

2–5+ years of onshore pipeline design/engineering experience.

Knowledge of applicable codes and standards.

Awareness of construction methods such as HDD, trenching, Direct Pipe, or auger boring.

Strong communication skills with proficiency in MS Office and Mathcad.
Desirable:

Experience with ASME B31.12 or CO₂ pipeline design.
