Job Title: OT Security Officer with NIS2 knowledge

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week no fully remote workers - min 2 days a week working from Warsaw office required.
JOB DESCRIPTION
New role due to a resignation on the team. The OT Security Officer works to support the development and application of OT Cyber Security requirements and is responsible for completion of OT Cybersecurity Risk Assessment, tracking of remediations and evidence gathering related to this in support of the OPS transfer process.
The OT Security officer is responsible for supporting development of risk assessments, remediation and mitigation planning, supporting SME's in other teams in understanding OT Security requirements, and describing and advising on implementation of appropriate security controls and prioritization.
The project will be managed from Denmark but work will be primarily performed from Poland. Travel to Vietnam, Denmark, and other countries is expected. Limited on-site work at the Warsaw office will be required but the role will allow for a remote/hybrid setup. The candidate must reside in Poland and have Polish right to work.
REQUIREMENTS
NIS2 Polish legislation experience is required and the candidate must have specific knowledge for the NIS2 directive in a Polish context.
This is a practical role for a resource that is ready to testing and performing risk assessment of OT Cyber Security requirements. The first week of employment will be on-site in the WAV office for introduction and training. After the first week, on-site presence is required but not mandatory. The role can be done mostly remotely from Poland. The candidate must be located in Poland.
- Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics Qualifications (Bachelor's) Required
- The ideal candidate MUST be up-to-date with the polish NIS2 legislations
- Understanding of Legislation relating to Critical National Infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with OT Security
- 5+ years' of work experience with or adjacent to operational technologies
- Good understanding of SCADA, PLC and Automation Networks essential
- Strong knowledge of security concepts and frameworks (IEC 62443, ISO 27000) related to OT Systems
- Have experience with implementation of complex solutions in challenging environments
- Have experience working in complex teams
- Have experience as an end user of solutions, particularly in an operational environment
Additional and desired knowledge and experience:
- Understanding of network and systems security, systems and network configuration, and application security
- Exposure to Energy Industry, especially any dealings with national critical infrastructure
