Job Title: Offshore Wind T&I Contract Engineer
Assignment Type: Contract (annually renewable)
Location: Paris La Defense, France OR Copenhagen, Denmark (candidate preference)

Schedule: Monday to Friday (residential basis)

A major opportunity has arisen with a leading global energy operator involved in the development of a 400MW offshore wind farm. The team is seeking a Contract Engineer with proven experience in offshore wind, specifically in transport and installation (T&I) packages. The successful candidate will manage the full contracting lifecycle from tender through to award and administration, helping ensure commercial integrity and compliance across all phases of project delivery.

Project Context
You will support the NorseBreeze offshore wind project during the FEED and tendering phase, coordinating all contractual activities for large-scale project packages (including WTG, Transmission, Foundations, T&I, and onshore scope).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop robust and fair contractual terms that protect the company’s interests and limit risk exposure

  • Lead the tendering process, including preparation of bid documents, clarification management, evaluations, and recommendations for award

  • Administer and manage awarded contracts including payment milestones, change orders, and dispute resolution

  • Interface closely with technical, legal, HSE, and financial teams to ensure alignment and compliance throughout the contracting process

  • Track contract milestones, ensure timely approvals and record-keeping

  • Support cost control and budgeting by providing accurate contract and expenditure data

  • Contribute to project close-out reporting and lessons learned

  • Ensure HSSE, ethics, and confidentiality standards are met across all contracting activities

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree-qualified (Bac+5 or equivalent) in engineering, business, law, or related field

  • Minimum 10 years of contract engineering experience, including significant exposure to offshore wind projects

  • Specific experience in transport and installation (T&I) contracts is essential

  • Strong legal and contractual writing skills

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus

  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills

  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural project environment
