Offshore Structural Engineer
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (site visits as required)
Job Type: Full-time, 6-month renewable contract
Working Schedule: 9 hours per day, 5 days a week
Qualification
Minimum B.E./B.Tech in Civil or Structural Engineering. M.E./M.Tech in Structural Engineering preferable.
Experience
8 to 12 years of relevant offshore structural design and engineering experience. Strong technical background with practical aptitude.
Technical Skills and Knowledge
Proficient in structural analysis software such as SACS, USFOS, or equivalent. Solid understanding of international design codes including API RP 2A, AISC, and related standards. Familiarity with client standards such as TOTAL, ADNOC Group, or equivalent. Experience in both in-service analyses (inplace, spectral fatigue, pushover, boat impact) and pre-service analyses (loadout, lift, transportation). Design experience in pipe supports, equipment supports, miscellaneous structures, and barge strengthening checks.
