Offshore Pipeline Engineer
Location: Singapore
Job Purpose
Support offshore pipeline engineering projects across conceptual design, FEED, and detailed engineering phases for subsea pipelines, risers, and associated infrastructure. Ensure designs comply with industry standards and optimise safety, operability, and integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities

Develop pipeline and SURF system designs, including flexible risers, umbilicals, and subsea structures.

Define metocean design criteria based on regional environmental data and classification standards.

Conduct pipeline route analysis, seabed intervention studies, and installation planning.

Perform motion, acceleration, and structural analysis of pipelines and risers using time-domain and frequency-domain simulations.

Undertake trim and stability calculations in compliance with IMO and classification rules, including intact and damage stability assessments.

Perform structural strength and fatigue assessments using FEA and spectral methods to ensure long-term integrity under cyclic loading.

Coordinate with installation contractors and vessel operators to ensure safe and efficient offshore execution.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet project and regulatory requirements.

Support all project phases from conceptual design through FEED to detailed engineering.
Requirements

Minimum 7 years’ experience in offshore pipeline engineering or related offshore/naval engineering disciplines.

Experience across conceptual, FEED, and detailed engineering phases for subsea pipelines and SURF systems.

Proficient in pipeline and riser design, installation planning, and subsea engineering analysis.

Strong knowledge of structural and fatigue engineering principles relevant to offshore pipelines.

Familiarity with classification society rules, IMO regulations, and international offshore engineering standards.

Proficiency with FEA and pipeline engineering software and simulation tools.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork abilities.
