JOB TITLE: Offshore Operations Manager

ASSIGNMENT TYPE: Permanent Hire Staff role/ Full Residential role in UAE
WORK SCHEDULE: 9 hours (including lunch break)- From 8am to 5pm- Monday to Friday (Saturday & Sunday are week off)
START DATE: Late 2025/ Early 2026 - Depending on successful candidates circumstances

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Offshore Operations Manager to lead and allocate offshore resources across major projects. This senior role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring offshore activities in close collaboration with all stakeholders, ensuring projects are executed safely, cost-effectively, and to contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of company-owned and chartered vessels.
- Finalise allocation of vessels, supervisory staff, and operations teams.
- Assess manpower requirements, including engineers and field staff, to meet workload demands.
- Attend constructability review meetings and contribute to planning.
- Ensure projects are executed within budget and in line with commercial agreements.
- Provide resources and expertise for effective offshore supervision and monitoring.
- Lead project reviews post-completion to capture lessons learned.
- Maintain strong relations with clients, partners, and local authorities while protecting company interests.
- Provide commercial and technical input at the estimation stage when required.
- Guide and support Heads of Offshore Operations and Operation Engineers.
- Stay updated on industry developments and recommend technology adoption.
- Liaise with technical experts to resolve offshore execution challenges and enhance operational capability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Naval preferred).
- Minimum 13 years of offshore operations experience, including senior leadership roles.
- Strong contractual, commercial, and financial awareness.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Superior knowledge of offshore operations, personnel, and equipment.
