Job Title: Offshore Installation Manager (OESS)

Job Purpose
The Offshore Installation Manager (OESS) leads all production and maintenance activities across complex offshore installations, ensuring safe, reliable, and environmentally responsible operations. The role is central to sustaining continuous gas production, overseeing brownfield integration, well operations, logistics, and major projects such as the North Field Sustainability (NFPS) initiatives. The OIM also acts as the Level-1 Emergency Incident Commander offshore.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Direct multi-disciplinary offshore teams managing over 100 wells across 10+ remote platforms.
- Ensure safe and optimized gas delivery to onshore LNG facilities in line with production targets.
- Coordinate all activities related to SIMOPS, drilling, well workovers, shutdowns, and inspections.
HSE & Emergency Response
- Uphold HSE standards through visible leadership and strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Serve as Incident Commander for offshore emergencies.
- Ensure offshore asset risks are reduced to ALARP levels and drive continuous safety performance.
People & Asset Management
- Manage a diverse team of over 200 staff and contractors on rotational assignments.
- Promote a positive and collaborative offshore work culture.
- Lead workforce planning, training, and competency assurance programs to ensure long-term offshore performance.
Maintenance & Project Interface
- Lead turnaround activities including planning, resourcing, execution, and post-analysis.
- Coordinate brownfield project tie-ins and ensure minimum production disruption.
- Align closely with Subsurface, Engineering, and Project teams for field development strategies.
Budget & Performance Stewardship
- Develop and manage annual operating and capital budgets.
- Ensure operations are cost-optimized without compromising safety, quality, or reliability.
- Drive benchmarking initiatives and continuous improvement against industry pacesetters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, Electrical, or related).
- 12+ years in oil & gas or petrochemicals, with at least 5 years in offshore operations.
- Minimum 3 years in leadership roles offshore.
- Proven experience in turnaround, SIMOPS, and brownfield project integration is essential.
