Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Offshore HSE Supervisor to join a major offshore development project. The role requires a dynamic individual capable of promoting and enforcing strong safety practices during complex construction and commissioning phases. This is a field-based position on a large multi-year oil and gas development initiative involving both greenfield and brownfield scopes.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the project’s primary HSE reference offshore, reinforcing safety as a core value.

Promote a culture of safety, ensure adherence to established HSE practices, and lead by example.

Ensure contractor compliance with HSE requirements as per contractual and regulatory standards.

Be physically present on site ("visible at site"), conducting regular inspections and engaging directly with teams.

Participate in toolbox talks (TBT), safety briefings, and pre-task planning sessions.

Support Permit to Work (PTW) procedures and ensure full compliance in both greenfield and brownfield activities.

Act as Authorized Gas Tester (AGT), conduct gas tests, and ensure rescue plans are in place and functional.

Coach and monitor contractor HSE teams and coordinate emergency response drills.

Submit daily reports, observations, and actions taken to the HSE Superintendent.
Additional Duties

Conduct inspections and audits in line with the HSE calendar and supervisor delegation.

Support hygiene inspections, induction verifications, and incident follow-up activities.

Participate in contractor safety review meetings and assist in the continuous improvement of safety performance.
Project Scope
This position is part of a long-term offshore development project involving the construction of multiple platforms, pipeline systems, and facility upgrades. The scope includes:

New wellhead and riser platforms

Living quarters and processing facilities
-
Installation of new subsea pipelines and integration with existing infrastructure

Simultaneous operations (SIMOPS) and brownfield tie-ins
You will work in a diverse environment with international stakeholders and contractors, requiring cultural awareness and collaboration.
Your Background
-
Minimum of 15 years’ HSE experience in offshore oil and gas construction and commissioning.

Proven experience in high-risk environments, including brownfield SIMOPS.

Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Strong leadership and coaching abilities with excellent communication skills.

NEBOSH or equivalent HSE qualification
