Offshore and Naval Engineer
Location: Singapore

Job Purpose
The role involves supporting offshore and naval engineering projects across conceptual design, FEED, and detailed engineering phases for floating production systems and subsea infrastructure. The position focuses on optimising designs for operational efficiency, integrity, and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Develop metocean design criteria using regional environmental data and classification standards.

  • Perform heading analysis with statistical and deterministic methods to optimise vessel orientation for operations.

  • Conduct motion and acceleration analysis using time-domain and frequency-domain simulations to assess operability and structural integrity.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and industry standards.

  • Provide engineering support throughout project phases from concept to detailed design.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in offshore and naval engineering.

  • Experience across conceptual, FEED, and detailed engineering phases for floating production and subsea systems.

  • Proficient in metocean analysis, heading optimisation, and motion/acceleration simulations.

  • Knowledge of relevant classification society rules and international standards.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills.

  • Proficiency with engineering software and simulation tools relevant to offshore design.
