JOB TITLE: OEM APPROVALS & PRODUCT SUPPORT ENGINEER
LOCATION: 562 Avenue du Parc de l'Île, Nanterre, France
ASSIGNMENT TYPE: Residential
START DATE: ASAP
CONTRACT LENGTH: Initial 6-month assignment with possibility of extension

PROJECT CONTEXT

Product Approval Process:
- Initiate, coordinate and monitor lubricant approval processes with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in Automotive and Marine sectors.
- Serve as the technical interlocutor for manufacturers, answering technical questions in coordination with product engineers.
- Provide regular reports on the progress of approvals, risks, and possible blockages.

Product Development & Validation:
- Oversee the development and validation of new and existing lubricants.
- Command, coordinate and monitor engine tests, benches and physico-chemical analyses in internal and external laboratories.
- Contribute to the industrialization of new products for both direct and indirect perimeters.

OEM Projects & RFPs:
- Participate in strategic OEM projects.
- Propose and technically monitor formulations in the context of OEM tenders (regional and global).
- Conduct technical inventories and contribute to the preparation of future calls for tenders.
- Participate in the development of candidate products for upcoming calls for tenders.

Quality, Processes & Tools:
- Save and maintain approvals in internal tools such as databases and document platforms.
- Assist with activities related to test vehicles.
- Ensure administrative follow-up in SAP:
o Entry and follow-up of orders related to approvals.
o Verification of the receipt of orders by the accounting department.
o Monitoring payment of invoices issued by manufacturers.

- OEM manufacturers (Automotive, Marine, Industrial)
- Quality, Finance, and Purchasing teams

Profile & Qualifications:
- Engineering degree in Chemistry, Mechanics, or Quality (or equivalent).

- OEM approval letters and certificates
- Approval and quality monitoring dashboards
- Technical contributions to OEM projects and tenders
- Monthly activity reports and up-to-date approval databases

EXPECTED SKILLS
- Strong understanding of lubricant formulations and validation processes
- English: minimum level B2 (professional)
- French: fluent
- Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Teams)
