About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team supporting the operation, maintenance, and integrity of LNG assets.

This role provides a unique opportunity to ensure the reliability and performance of critical mechanical systems across a world-class LNG facility.

Work as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, driving continuous improvement, delivering technical assurance, and supporting both ongoing operations and long-term asset management strategies.
Key Responsibilities

Provide mechanical engineering expertise to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of LNG equipment and systems.

Conduct mechanical integrity assessments, root cause analyses, and reliability studies for rotating and static assets.

Support maintenance teams with troubleshooting, repair planning, and equipment performance optimisation.

Liaise with vendors and contractors to oversee design modifications and major maintenance activities.

Develop and update technical documentation, including mechanical design specifications, standards, and maintenance procedures.

Deliver engineering input into capital projects, shutdown planning, and regulatory compliance activities.

Support reliability improvement initiatives and asset management strategies across LNG operations.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Minimum 6 years of experience working on LNG assets or in gas processing/energy sector roles.

Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, including compressors, pumps, and turbines, and static pressure systems.

Familiarity with international codes and standards such as API, ASME, and ISO.

Experience in reliability engineering, FMEA, RCA, or condition-based monitoring is preferred.

Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
