We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a growing operator in the renewable energy sector. This is a key role within the Engineering and Maintenance team, contributing to asset optimisation and long-term strategy across a portfolio of renewable energy sites. Key Responsibilities:

Drive the delivery of mechanical asset optimisation projects across the renewables portfolio

Contribute to risk management, maintenance strategies, and compliance procedures, especially related to PSSR and relevant mechanical standards

Support the development of short, medium, and long-term maintenance strategies for mechanical assets

Provide expertise in developing a strategic spares and stockholding plan across the business

Offer technical input for mechanical and boiler maintenance contracts, including performance evaluation of suppliers

Collaborate closely with Operations & Maintenance teams to build a culture of teamwork and engineering excellence

Promote and embed Process Safety principles across all engineering activities
Requirements:

Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field

Strong understanding of mechanical maintenance within industrial or renewable energy settings

Knowledge of PSSR and other relevant engineering standards

Ability to engage cross-functional teams and external contractors

Comfortable working in a fast-paced and change-driven environment
