Overview
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the intake system team, focusing on engine components. The role involves designing individual components or complete systems, from concept to finished product, ensuring integration with the overall product. You will act as a technical knowledge owner, collaborating across departments, manufacturing units, and global suppliers to optimise designs for competitive series-production products.
Key Responsibilities

Design and optimise intake system components using advanced plastics, rubber, and light metals

Participate in full product development from concept to production

Act as a technical owner and advisor in cross-department discussions

Collaborate with manufacturing units, global suppliers, and project teams to ensure high-quality design outcomes

Ensure designs meet functional, manufacturing, and integration requirements
Qualifications and Skills

Civil or university degree in Mechanical Engineering

2–3 years of experience in mechanical product development

Experience working in CATIA V5

Fluent in Swedish and English
Desirable Skills

Experience with form-locked components

Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)

Knowledge of combustion engines

Experience designing rubber components
