Overview
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a dynamic product development team. The role focuses on ride-on products in new project development, with responsibility for independent planning, high-quality delivery, and collaboration across departments, including lab, purchasing, and suppliers. Your work will support prototype evaluation, testing, and the development of innovative, high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute mechanical design tasks independently, meeting deadlines and quality standards

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise product development outcomes

Work closely with the lab to evaluate prototypes and test results

Ensure mechanical design meets high-quality standards for steel and plastic components
Qualifications and Skills

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

2–5 years relevant experience in mechanical design

Proficient in Catia V5

Strong knowledge of steel and plastic design

Experience with mechatronics or electronics is a plus

Proficiency in Swedish and English
