Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer – Piping Systems

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a global engineering team responsible for piping system design within industrial gas turbine projects. The role focuses on producing detailed designs, manufacturing data, and technical documentation, while working collaboratively with project teams and suppliers to ensure cost-effective, high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Design pipe systems and prepare manufacturing data using NX CAD software

Develop and maintain product standards and technical solutions, ensuring cost efficiency and quality

Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to solve technical issues, perform root cause analyses, and update documentation

Manage installation-related queries within project order scopes using 3D modelling tools

Ensure design work aligns with project schedules in coordination with project teams

Create, review, and update technical investigations and documentation within your expertise

Build strong relationships across the organisation and liaise with customer order and sales departments
Requirements:

MSc or BSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience

Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards such as PED and ASME

Experience with pipe design and preferably piping stress calculations

Familiarity with system design and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID)

Proficiency in English and Swedish, both spoken and written
