Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor – Power Generation

Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of power generation equipment. The role ensures all mechanical work is executed efficiently, safely, and in line with quality standards, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities

Supervision & Coordination:

Supervise a team of technicians performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems.

Assign daily tasks and ensure timely completion of service activities.

Monitor and guide team members to adhere to standards and specifications.

Technical Support:

Provide hands-on mechanical expertise for complex issues.

Oversee overhauling and commissioning of generators and mechanical components.

Maintenance Management:

Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Document service activities and spare part usage accurately.

Quality & Safety:
-
Enforce safety protocols and conduct toolbox talks.
-
Ensure all mechanical work complies with company and industry standards.

Inventory & Tools:
-
Monitor spare parts stock and coordinate timely replenishment.

Client Interface:

Communicate with clients during site visits and inspections.
-
Report issues, progress, and updates to clients and management.

Requirements
-
Education: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience:
-
Minimum 5 years in mechanical maintenance in the power generation industry.

Hands-on experience with diesel/gas generators (e.g., Cummins, Perkins, CAT).

Supervisory experience is preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of engines and rotating equipment.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings.

Leadership and team management capabilities.

Effective communication skills in English and Arabic.

Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus.

Working Conditions
-
Field and workshop-based, with frequent site visits.
-
May require travel to remote locations.
-
Available for emergency call-outs and shift work if required.
