Shift Pattern: 9 hours per day, 5 days per week (M-F). No Hybrid or work from home as this is a fully site based role.

Job Description
The Materials Coordinator / Site Materials & Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing all materials management and logistics activities on site related to procured free-issue materials.
The role acts as the single point of contact for site-based materials coordination, ensuring materials are received, stored, tracked, issued, and made available in line with construction schedules and project requirements.
This is a fully site-based role with no remote or home-working option.
Key Responsibilities
Materials Management

Act as the focal point for all site materials management activities for free-issue materials

Coordinate receipt, inspection, registration, storage, and issuance of materials

Maintain accurate material tracking, inventory control, and material status reporting

Ensure materials are available in line with construction priorities and schedules

Manage material movements between Site, Damen laydown area, and Rhoneweg warehouse
Logistics & Coordination

Coordinate internal logistics between project operating centres

Interface with construction teams, subcontractors, and warehouse personnel

Support resolution of material shortages, damages, discrepancies, or delays

Ensure proper handling and storage in accordance with project and HSE requirements
Site & Compliance

Ensure full compliance with project procedures, HSE rules, and logistics standards

Maintain clear documentation and reporting related to materials and logistics activities

Support audits, inspections, and reporting requirements as needed
Key Requirements
Essential
-
Proven experience in materials coordination, warehousing, or site logistics on large industrial, construction, or EPC projects

Strong understanding of site materials management processes

Experience working in a multi-site project environment

Good organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work flexibly and handle overtime demands

Right to work in the Netherlands
Desirable

Experience on industrial, energy, or terminal projects

Familiarity with contractor- or client-supplied free-issue materials

Experience working within structured EPC or owner-led project environments
