Overview:
We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance activities across hydrocarbon processing facilities. The role ensures safe, reliable, and efficient execution of all maintenance work, supporting operational targets and regulatory compliance. You will supervise both in-house teams and contractors, ensuring maintenance operations are carried out to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise maintenance tasks performed by internal staff and contractors, ensuring compliance with safety procedures and job specifications.

Monitor and evaluate team performance, prioritising and delegating tasks effectively to meet operational goals.

Coordinate the planning, scheduling, and execution of routine and non-routine maintenance to minimise downtime and ensure service intervals are met.

Collaborate with operations teams to resolve equipment faults safely and promptly in line with regulations.

Maintain and update the asset management system daily, supporting efficient scheduling and reporting to the maintenance lead.

Work with procurement and stock control to manage critical spares and ensure timely availability of parts.

Ensure all maintenance activities are documented and certified to meet legal and regulatory standards.

Recommend improvements to maintenance practices, equipment performance, and departmental efficiency.

Contribute to plant improvement projects, shutdowns, and turnaround planning.
Qualifications and Experience:

Proven supervisory experience in maintenance within oil & gas, petrochemical, or other high-risk industrial sectors.

Relevant technical qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, HNC/Foundation Degree) in electrical, instrumentation, or mechanical maintenance.

Experience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) tools.

Knowledge of hydrocarbon processing operations and safety standards (desirable).

Experience working in hazardous areas; CompEx certification is advantageous.
