Contract Type: 4-year contract
Location: Doha, Qatar (Residential, 5 days a week)
Work Environment: Oil & Gas facility with offshore and onshore sites.
Reporting To: Lead, Maintenance Methods in Performance Control and Methods section
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of maintenance strategies, engineering, and procedures.
- Develop and update maintenance processes, work instructions, and strategies for various assets.
- Optimize maintenance methods through best practices in work preparation and execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional maintenance and inspection teams to address HSE risk management, operational safety, development opportunities, and management of change.
- Coordinate with field operations departments and offshore management to optimize working processes and tools.
- Contribute offshore experience to the Methods Team and focus on RFMs, reporting progress or challenges to management.
- Develop and maintain maintenance strategies, procedures, and master data.
- Ensure an incident-free environment and nurture safety-first values.
- Support execution teams in managing maintenance backlogs (base operations, campaign/shutdown, and fabric maintenance).
- Interface with contractors to review and validate deliverables.
- Analyze maintenance KPIs and implement optimization initiatives.
- Support updates and reviews of maintenance company management systems, procedures, and processes for onshore and offshore maintenance.
- Regularly review and improve preventative maintenance strategies and report on delivery optimization.
- Oversee modifications and ensure deliverables are clearly defined.
- Drive alignment on value and technical assessments for change requests and prioritize modifications.
- Maintain visibility and progress tracking for modifications within the team.
- Manage Safety and Environment Critical Equipment (SECE) in SAP S/4.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in the Oil & Gas industry, including offshore experience.
- Mechanical bachelor's degree required.
- Strong understanding of operations and maintenance management for offshore Oil & Gas facilities.
- Proficient in maintenance and inspection management tools (SAP ECC and S4).
- Skilled in reviewing engineering drawings, ELDs, P&IDs, and vendor manuals.
- Medically fit to travel to offshore oil & gas platforms.
- Results-driven mindset.
- Fluent in English (listening, writing, and speaking) with technical vocabulary.

- Offshore trips and workshop visits are required on an ad-hoc basis.
