Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute offshore and subsea logistics planning, control, and management related to logistics, marine inspection, mobilization, and installation activities for various offshore projects within the organization.
- Serve as a focal point for interface between various project working groups and assist relevant department heads in the execution of their activities.
- Provide technical evaluation of marine vessels offered by contractors to ensure they meet project requirements and intended scope.
- Coordinate with the installation contractor for necessary inspections and ensure readiness for timely mobilization according to the project execution plan.
- Support team leads in providing technical evaluation for proposed offshore marine support vessels during the bidding stage.
- Organize and manage project logistics back charges and coordinate with project managers and relevant departments to facilitate process closures.
- Coordinate with internal Marine, HSE, and technical services teams to secure initial approval and inspection of contractor-proposed marine spread, ensuring compliance with standards and marine regulations.
- Follow up with contractors for timely resolution of inspection punch items; coordinate with safety teams to ensure close-out prior to infield mobilization.
- Organize follow-up inspections to ensure all outstanding items are resolved to satisfaction prior to deployment.
- Ensure that all relevant stakeholders and department heads are fully informed on execution-related issues, providing recommendations for resolution.
- Act as the main point of contact for all offshore execution-related communications to ensure clear directives and responsibilities are identified and integrated into technical and construction teams.
- Participate in the review of project scopes related to offshore logistics activities and provide input during FEED and bid evaluation stages.
- Coordinate offshore survey and related activities and assess marine requirements.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. or Higher National Diploma, or Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline from a recognized university. Certification in Nautical Science, Marine Logistics, Offshore, or Port Operations is an added advantage.
- 8 to 10 years' experience in offshore capital projects logistics management and coordination.
- Strong team building, coordination, and team player capabilities.
- Ability to supervise a multi-national and multi-cultural contractor workforce.
- Good IT and analytical skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
