Industrial Hygiene Manager

Overview
A leading energy company is seeking an experienced Industrial Hygiene Manager to plan, execute, and supervise its Industrial Hygiene Program (IHP). The role focuses on protecting employees, contractors, and visitors from occupational health risks across onshore and offshore facilities, including operational units and shutdown activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of specialists in Industrial Hygiene, Welfare, and Radiation Protection to support operations and shutdown activities
- Manage the implementation of the Industrial Hygiene Program and Annual Action Plans at operational and shutdown sites, ensuring compliance with industrial hygiene standards
- Facilitate HSE meetings, deliver presentations at management levels, and track KPIs in collaboration with relevant authorities
- Analyse workplace health issues and propose recommendations to minimise risks
- Develop, review, and supervise internal and external industrial hygiene procedures and Safe Work Practices in line with local, national, and international regulations
- Organise inspections and audits on food and welfare, heat stress, industrial hygiene, and radiation safety
- Design and implement training programs on industrial hygiene, worker welfare, and workplace health protection
- Lead corporate initiatives on worker welfare and food safety, coordinating with contractors and external stakeholders
- Oversee radiation safety compliance and liaise with regulatory bodies, including Ministry of Environment and Climate Change
- Interface with the Medical Department to address occupational health, food safety, and radiation issues
- Manage incident investigations and cold eye reviews related to industrial hygiene, worker welfare, and radiation safety
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or Environmental Health
- Advanced degree or certification in Industrial Hygiene (CIH preferred) highly desirable
- Minimum 12 years’ experience in industrial hygiene, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role within the oil and gas or petrochemical industry
- Proven experience managing teams and coordinating strategic-level industrial hygiene or related projects
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification is mandatory
