Role Overview:
Join a dynamic team as a Lead Mechanical Engineer responsible for delivering a brownfield EPC/FEED project. The role demands a hands-on approach to managing mechanical engineering scope across machinery, vessels, and packages. You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality and HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead mechanical engineering activities covering design, vendor drawing review, technical specifications, and design scheme preparation.

Ensure all mechanical works comply with contract requirements and technical standards.

Collaborate within project teams to meet schedule, cost, and quality targets.

Participate in coordination, progress, and resource planning meetings.

Manage cost control and forecasting for mechanical scope.

Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environment (HSE) performance and client satisfaction.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:

Engineering degree in Mechanical or relevant discipline.

Proven experience in engineering and contracting on major and minor projects.

Strong motivation and confidence working both independently and collaboratively.

Working towards or holding Chartered status with a recognised professional institution.
Desirable Skills and Experience:

Process plant engineering background.

Extensive experience preparing requisitions for mechanical equipment and packaged plants.

Knowledge of Pressure Equipment Directive, Machinery Directive, and CE marking.
-
CSCS card holder.
-
Experience in design management roles.
