Role Overview
Responsible for the design and engineering of mechanical material handling systems, this role ensures compliance with technical requirements and effective integration with overall project designs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and specification of mechanical material handling systems.
- Review vendor documents and ensure alignment with project standards.
- Provide technical support during design, procurement, and construction.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure design consistency.
- Monitor progress and manage change and risk processes.
- Participate in project meetings and resolve technical issues.
- Champion a culture of safety, quality, and innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 15 years of mechanical design experience in oil and gas projects.
- Proven background in material handling systems.
- Strong understanding of international engineering standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
