Job Title: Lead Manufacturing Process Engineer (Machining)

Job Summary:
The Lead Manufacturing Process Engineer (Machining) is responsible for developing and supporting CNC machining, EDM, and CMM processes used in the repair of gas turbine components. This role includes commissioning new equipment, qualifying machining processes, and driving continuous improvements across safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead process improvement initiatives in CNC machining and EDM for gas turbine repairs.

Develop work instructions and provide training for technicians.

Troubleshoot machining and EDM issues on the shop floor.

Select, install, and commission CNC, EDM, and CMM equipment, tooling, and fixtures.

Qualify new equipment and machining processes for engineering release.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, Operations, Engineering).

Develop and implement productivity and quality improvement programs.

Maintain documentation of process parameters, experiments, and qualification records.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).

Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC machining, EDM, or related processes.

Familiarity with CAD/CAM, fixture/tooling design, and metrology/CMM systems.

Knowledge of gas turbine component repair is an advantage.

Annual Wage Supplement (AWS) – paid in December

Variable Bonus (VB) – paid in April (historically 1.6 months; performance-based)
