Role Overview
A leading automotive technology team is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to drive the development of next-generation digital key hardware for connected vehicles. This role covers the full hardware development lifecycle, including design, supplier collaboration, testing, and production rollout. The position requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities

Lead hardware development for digital key solutions, managing supplier relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery

Oversee development from technical requirements to validation and testing

Act as project lead, coordinating a multidisciplinary engineering team and external partners

Develop and manage project timelines and organize project activities

Collaborate with internal functions, including software development, mechanical integration, and product attributes

Support successful rollout of new technology to production and aftermarket
Profile & Requirements

Previous product development experience in the automotive industry, including diagnostics, software integration, software testing, or electronic components

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electronics, Computer Science, Automation, or related field, or equivalent experience

Flexible, self-driven, reliable, and strong team player with a focus on results

Experience managing suppliers and external stakeholders

Strong organizational and planning skills with a structured approach

Fluent in English and Swedish (written and spoken)
