If you are an experienced corrosion engineering specialist seeking a technically engaging, long-term opportunity in a major oil & gas environment—this role is ideal.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify applicable damage mechanisms (DMs) within corrosion loops across all systems.

  • Define and implement corrosion monitoring methods: intrusive, non-intrusive, process sampling, and online analyzers.

  • Develop cost-effective mitigation strategies, including material selection, chemical treatment, coatings, and cathodic protection.

  • Conduct qualitative risk assessments to evaluate DMs by likelihood and consequence.

  • Establish controllable process parameters and define safe operating envelopes.

  • Review flow assurance studies to manage issues such as top-of-line, under-deposit, and bottom-of-line corrosion.

  • Use commercial corrosion prediction models, understanding their limitations.

  • Develop corrosion control plans across all project phases: delivery, storage, construction, commissioning, hydrotesting, lay-up, and startup.

  • Provide expert failure analysis, troubleshooting, and engineering support.

  • Contribute to and develop technical standards and best practices.

  • Identify and deploy emerging corrosion technologies and international best practices.

  • Mentor junior engineers and specialists, fostering technical growth within the organization.

Qualifications & Experience
