Role Overview:
A fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Contracts and Procurement Engineer to support a major international energy project during its FEED phase and into EPC execution. Based in Paris with travel to the UK during early stages, this position will see you act as a key player in contractual strategy, execution, and administration on a large-scale development with global impact.

This role spans the full project lifecycle, from tender support to post-award administration and claims resolution. If you have strong experience with contract preparation, negotiations, and EPC interface management, this role will place you at the heart of a complex and high-value project environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the project management team with all contract-related activities during FEED and EPC phases.

  • Draft, review, and finalise contracts and commercial documents in compliance with company procedures.

  • Manage contract tendering, bid evaluations, and subcontract awards.

  • Coordinate resolution of contractual issues, variations, and claims.

  • Ensure project compliance with legal, financial, and risk management protocols.

  • Prepare official communications and correspondence with contractors and suppliers.

  • Oversee contract administration including guarantees, bonds, and insurance documentation.

  • Lead internal contract and admin kickoff meetings and provide ongoing commercial guidance to project teams.

  • Identify contractual obligations, risks, and opportunities across the project lifecycle.

  • Facilitate integration between procurement and subcontracting activities.

  • Engage with stakeholders across engineering, legal, and commercial functions to ensure consistent and clear contractual strategy.

  • Track contractor and subcontractor deliverables, ensuring timely execution and compliance.

Candidate Profile:

  • Degree-qualified in Engineering, Legal, or a related field.

  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in large-scale project contract management.

  • Proven experience in the energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.

  • Strong knowledge of contract drafting, tender processes, and post-award administration.

  • Skilled in handling legal documentation including bank guarantees, JV authorisations, and insurance certificates.

  • Fluent in English; strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

  • Familiar with HSE, quality assurance, and document control standards.

  • Proficient in standard office and contract management software.
