Role Overview:
A fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Contracts and Procurement Engineer to support a major international energy project during its FEED phase and into EPC execution. Based in Paris with travel to the UK during early stages, this position will see you act as a key player in contractual strategy, execution, and administration on a large-scale development with global impact.
This role spans the full project lifecycle, from tender support to post-award administration and claims resolution. If you have strong experience with contract preparation, negotiations, and EPC interface management, this role will place you at the heart of a complex and high-value project environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the project management team with all contract-related activities during FEED and EPC phases.

Draft, review, and finalise contracts and commercial documents in compliance with company procedures.

Manage contract tendering, bid evaluations, and subcontract awards.

Coordinate resolution of contractual issues, variations, and claims.

Ensure project compliance with legal, financial, and risk management protocols.

Prepare official communications and correspondence with contractors and suppliers.

Oversee contract administration including guarantees, bonds, and insurance documentation.

Lead internal contract and admin kickoff meetings and provide ongoing commercial guidance to project teams.

Identify contractual obligations, risks, and opportunities across the project lifecycle.

Facilitate integration between procurement and subcontracting activities.

Engage with stakeholders across engineering, legal, and commercial functions to ensure consistent and clear contractual strategy.

Track contractor and subcontractor deliverables, ensuring timely execution and compliance.
Candidate Profile:

Degree-qualified in Engineering, Legal, or a related field.

At least 10 years of relevant experience in large-scale project contract management.

Proven experience in the energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors.

Strong knowledge of contract drafting, tender processes, and post-award administration.

Skilled in handling legal documentation including bank guarantees, JV authorisations, and insurance certificates.

Fluent in English; strong written and verbal communication skills.

Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Familiar with HSE, quality assurance, and document control standards.

Proficient in standard office and contract management software.
